Here are some more information for Arc Electric:

The ARC-170 is the largest of the January 2010 wave with 396 pieces and it is recommended for ages 8-14. It comes with minifigures Kit Fisto, Captain Jag, a clone pilot and the astromech droid R4-P44.
In terms of playability the windshield of the cockpit can be opened (without taking the whole piece off) and the wings can be opened using gears at the back. Spinning the cog at the rear puts the S-foils into attack position (always wanted to say that!). Two green flick-fire missiles fire about 10 inches forward when activated.
Despite being a re-release of an earlier ARC 170 release it comes with new figures. Jedi master Kit Fisto was released in an earlier set with Obi Wan's starfighter but all the other figures are new. R4-P44 is just like R2-D2 but with green markings on its body and a green head. The clone pilot is a variation on the older clone pilots featured in sets like the V-19 but with a new helmet. Captain Jag is also unique, with the same body as the Clone Pilot but different colors on the helmet.
The ship spans 20 inches and as discussed earlier, is a re-release, the first coming out in conjunction with Episode III in 2005. The nose is a little different in this release with the new ARC-170 a little more rounded and sleek looking. The engines are also different. Borrowing the large wheel pieces from the Turbo Tank this new model features huge engines in relation to the size of the ship.
Stickers abound in this set, which is a non-no to hardened LEGO fans, though casual users won't mind so much. It is quite sturdy and its swooshability is high. It's easy to hold and manoeuvre though opening the wings out takes a little bit of juggling when in flight.
In regards to price this set fits in with Lego's new, more expensive price per piece ratio at $59.95 for approximately 400 pieces. If you can find it a little cheaper it's well worth it and as the largest of this wave's releases it is highly appealing.

Learn Why Arc Flash Is Extremely Dangerous
For workplace safety, companies have to take a lot of steps. There are lots of such industries where business can not be done without complying with the safety standards and that’s the reason why it is essential for companies to pay special attention to workplace safety.
Although different accidents can take place in workplace but one of the most expensive for the company is none other than the arc flash. An arc flash, which is also called arc blast, is like an electrical explosion. It occurs due to the inability of electrified conductors endure the applied voltage.
Dangers of arc flash:
Just like with all types of electrical explosions, arc flash can also create several problems. In fact, it would be wrong to suggest that it can be extremely hazardous for people working close to the location of arc flash. Actually, it is hazardous because the temperature of an arc can go up to 500F and more. In addition to heat, it produces a loud noise with the emission of hot gasses. It is due to all these factors and concentrated energy that death can be an outcome of an arc flash.
Although it can cause death but several other problems can also be caused by an arc flash. For instance, hearing loss is caused by the loud explosion in arc flash. Moreover, pressure waves can damage brain function which can be extremely dangerous. Not to mention that flash can easily damage eyesight and the pressure waves can make metal tools and other equipment to fly, resulting in serious injuries.
An important consideration:
Now, you must have gathered the idea of why special care is to be taken if workers have to work near exposed energized equipment. Apart from taking special care, it is also essential to provide training to those workers who have to work in close proximity of hazardous equipment. That’s exactly the point when a training company should be consulted with. Most of these companies provide information pertaining to proper practices and procedures, electrical hazards, PPE use and care and more.
It is worth mentioning that along with providing training these companies can also help in making your workplace safer. They achieve this task by adding warning labels on equipment and providing you with the flame-resistant clothing. In addition to this, they take every safety aspect into consideration and make your people understand the right way of working in hazardous environment.
So, you can see that arc flash can really create a lot of problems. It is dangerous for your employees and that is the reason why you must consult with a company to guide you and your workers in the right way. Always keep in mind that only education and proper training can save your money and the lives of your workers.

how can I make a electric jacobs lader?
where you see the electric arc "walk" up between the rods of a rabbit ear TV antenna,
I plan on keeping a piece of grounded metal between me and any experiment, so please, no lexturs about safety, I just want to know how to do it.
You need a high voltage transformer. Typically, a neon sign transformer is used. The higher the voltage, the better. I used a 4000V transformer for my jacobs ladder and it worked, but a 5000V transformer (or higher!) would have been better.
To get a neon sign transformer, you need to visit your local neon sign supplier and see what they might have in the back. When you visit, try to look respectable and like someone who will use the transformer properly. These things are dangerous and they are unlikely to sell you one unless they think that you will use it safely. Having a parent along with you helps a lot.
The wires that form the "rabbit ears" need to be fairly stiff so that they hold their shape. But they should also be flexible enough that you can adjust them easily. They need to be be brought close together near the bottom and gently spread further apart as they go further up.
You will need to play quite a bit with the spacing to get it right. If the point at the bottom is too far apart, no arc will form. If the point at the bottom is too close, the arc will form but will not ascend. If the wires diverge too rapidly, the arc will break before it reaches the top of the wires. If the wires don't diverge enough, the arc will not break when it reaches the top of the wires.
What you want is for the arc to form at the bottom where the wires are closest, then rise at a relatively slow speed until it reaches the top of the wires. At the top, the center of the arc should continue to rise while the ends of the arc will remain attached to the ends of the wires. Eventually, the lengthened (due to the rise in the center) arc will break and the arc will once again form at the point where the wires are closest.
Good luck
Have fun
Do watch out for those high voltage terminals and the wires. They will quite literally knock you on your butt. Guess how I know this.
