Milwaukee Valve BB2-100 Series Bronze Butterfly Valve, Unibody, Stainless Steel 304 Disc, Lever Handle, 1/2 Milwaukee Valve BB2-100 Series Bronze Butterfly Valve, Unibody, Stainless Steel 304 Disc, Lever Handle, 1/2" NPT Female
List Price: $20.46
Sale Price: $18.94

The Milwaukee Valve BB2-100 series unibody butterfly valve is made of bronze with a stainless steel 304 disc, and it has a lever handle and female National Pipe Taper (NPT) threaded connections on both ends. This bronze valve, which is higher strength and more corrosion resistant than brass, is full port for reduced friction; its inner diameter is the same as the inner diameter of the pipe it connects to enable maximum operating efficiency. The one-piece construction reduces the possibility of leakage and it has female NPT threaded connections on both ends that create tighter seals than straight threads. The maximum pressure is 175 pounds per square inch (psi) for use with water, oil, and gas (WOG), and the working temperature range is 30 to 275 degrees F. The zinc-plated steel lever handle with a vinyl sleeve rotates the stainless steel 304 disc in the valve seat to fully open, throttle, or stop flow through the valve. This valve is for use in applications including natural gas and liquid propane shutoff, fuel oil and oil systems, HVAC, and both liquid and vacuum service. Butterfly valves are used to regulate flow between pipes, tubes, and hoses by rotating a lens-shaped disc in the center of the valve and are suited for high-capacity, low-pressure applications. When the valve is fully opened, the disc face is parallel to the inlet and outlet of the valve, and when the valve is closed, the disc face is perpendicular to the opening of the valve. Butterfly valves may have a handle or lever that aligns with the disc position (open or closed) for manual flow control. They are primarily used in applications including agriculture, water treatment, fire protection, compressed air or gas, and vacuum service. The Milwaukee Valve Company manufactures manual and actuated valves, controls, and control accessories. The company, founded in 1901, and headquartered in New Berlin, WI, meets International Organization for Standardization (ISO) 9001:2008 and 14001:2004 standards.

Generally speaking, the word "anesthesia" can refer to a loss of bodily feeling, which may or may not be accompanied by unconsciousness. Anesthesia has been utterly invaluable in helping to reduce the pain of surgery patients in the last hundred years, and general anesthesia is commonplace in virtually every corner of the globe. Other varieties of anesthesia act to numb local or regional parts of the body.

Anesthesia machines are used in administering the different types of anesthesia used by physicians. General anesthesia is widely used in most major surgeries and is done by injecting the agent into a patient's vein. Regional anesthesia consists of injecting and numbing the nerves of the spinal cord in the patient undergoing the procedure.

Likewise, 'Local anesthesia' involves the injection of the numbing agent into that part of the body which requires surgery. To support the administration of anesthesia, anesthetists make use of anesthesia machines. Of all such machines, the continuous flow machine is perhaps the most popular. This machine provides a continuous supply of medical gases like 'nitrous oxide' and 'oxygen' along with an anesthetic agent like 'Isoflurane'.

The ventilator, patient-monitoring device and suction unit are the three basic parts of an anesthetic machine. These parts make up a very lightweight and portable machine, instead of the bulky machines that used to be used to administer anesthesia. Modern anesthesia machines also have a wide variety of safety devices.

Some of the safety devices which must be present in an anesthetic machine are: Oxygen failure alarms, ventilator alarms and non-interchangeable valve connectors. Buying a new machine for the purpose of administering anesthesia can sometimes be a costly affair. That is why one must buy a used anesthesia machine instead of a new one. You can search for stores in your town or city which sell used medical equipment.

Numerous companies on the World Wide Web offer anesthesia machines for sale. Several of these companies have gained a good reputation and have been selling this type of equipment for many years. You should never by a used anesthesia machine unless the quality can be guaranteed.

Anesthesia is used to make patients unaware of pain during some surgeries and procedures. General anesthesia is injected into the blood stream. Regional anesthesia is injected into the spinal chord. Local anesthesia is injected into the area which is being worked on. Anesthesiologists use anesthesia machines to administer the anesthetic. These machines are smaller and more lightweight than they used to be. They all include a ventilator, a suction unit and patient monitoring equipment. New machines are expensive, so buying a used anesthesia machine might be a good choice. Both the internet and brick and mortar stores carry used medical equipment.

Duplex Valve Range Expanded At The Alloy Valve Stockist

Miriam Ruiz, head of Internal Sales, noted that this was a significant step towards covering the valve supply gap to seawater treatment and desalination plants. “Desalination plants are a focus area for us in 2010, particularly on the east and west wings of the equatorial Atlantic coasts.”

The duplex sluice gate valves are constructed with substantial ribbing for resistance to deflection. Frames connection are flat back or spigot type for extending into concrete, spigot end type provide extra stiffening to the frame. As for circular and rectangular penstocks, flanges connection are also available on request, These types of connection are used to enable bolting installation to flange inlet pipe and wall thimble installation. On each side of the frame, guide channels are provided for the gate and extended to a sufficient height to ensure that the gate is supported over not less than two-thirds of its depth when at maximum lift.

The Alloy Valve Stockist is a premier alloy valves stockist and distributor for gas and water applications. As a gate valves supplier and stockist, they keep duplex valves in Duplex and Super Duplex in stock, and can also offer them on short manufacturing lead times. Other alloy valves include gate, globe, check, butterfly and control valves, in alloy 20, monel alloy 400, hastelloy, inconel alloy 600 and incoloy alloy 800 valves.

They supply valves in ANSI and DIN standards, in a wide range of sizes and pressure ratings, and stock premium brand valves, approved leading oil, gas and chemical companies. Should gas pool on top of my butterfly valve on a TBI?

I have a 1988 Chevy C2500 with a 5.7L 350 TBI engine. I am having problems with it dieing when I push the gas too quickly. I have noticed at idle gas seems to pool up on top of my butterfly valve, but barely enough to notice. I am thinking maybe when the butterfly opens all of that gas floods out the engine, just wanted feedback if I am on the right track and what would cause this.

Hey dere eman, you are correct, there should not be any fuel accumulating there, sounds like the fuel pressure regulator or the actual tbi is leaking, vacuum at this point should not allow fuel to pool up. You could have other system components influencing the tbi, ie...pump,exhaust,regulator, it maybe best to enlist a shop to check it...good luck
