Here are some more information for Cart Mig:

A car is an expensive investment. For many people it's the second most expensive investment you ever have to make, right after buying a home. Cars need a lot of maintenance. Fortunately, many maintenance tasks are simple and relatively inexpensive. If you don't maintain, you'll end up spending even more on expensive repairs.
The number one most important step in essential car maintenance is giving your car regular oil changes. The oil in your car lubricates the moving parts in the engine. This is the easiest part of taking care of a car, but despite this, many people neglect oil changes and end up with burnt out engines and expensive repairs. The standard in oil changes is every 3,000 miles but some experts find this excessive and recommend 4,000 to 6,000. Keep track of your oil change schedule. Another important step is tire rotation. Because your tires start to wear in a specific way as you drive, it's important to have your tires rotated so that they wear evenly. This will give you the most life out of your tires and should be done about every 6,000 miles. Another important step is one people often neglect. It happens as you're driving down the road and another vehicle sends a rock or pebble flying through the air and into your windshield. Rock chips are easy to ignore, but if you do, chances are that chip will turn into a crack. Windshield replacement is expensive. It's important to repair rock chips as soon as they happen. You may want to even invest in windshield repair kits to take care of the problem yourself. If you perform these important maintenance steps, your car will last much longer.
Tri Glass provides the best windshield repair kits, tools, and supplies. They have the latest technology and the fastest, simplest, and most efficient tools and supplies for auto glass repair. (http://www.triglassinc.com/cart/complete-kits-c-5.html)
Go Kart Frame - Useful Ideas For Constructing Or Buying The Right One
If you would like to know how to build a go kart frame there are quite a lot of prime quality go kart frame plans available to choose from. A go kart frame is the foundation for your entire go kart and ought to be built properly for optimum enjoyment. You've got a number of choices that will allow you to establish the amount of labor you will need to put in prior to racing around in your brand new go cart.
You can decide to weld or not weld, it is your choice
Welding or not welding, that is the question. If you would like to weld your own you have got two choices. You can either build and weld your frame from scratch or get a go kart frame kit that has not been welded yet, that will also include a set of go kart frame plans.
If you make the decision to perform your own welding you will either need a MIG welder or have access to one. If you do not have a MIG welder at your disposal you can buy a go cart frame kit with the welding already done. Obtaining a welded frame kit has the advantage of having a steering hoop attached. This is one of the most difficult parts of constructing a kart, therefore having the steering hoop previously connected will eliminate some possible frustrations.
Welded go kart frames can be bought inexpensively online, you simply need to do some searching. Be sure you get a kit that has all needed parts for a complete frame or go cart. You do not need to be searching for various parts through the building process because it will take all the fun out of the project.
Beginning with a high-quality go kart frame kit has its advantages
Beginning with a decent kit is the best tactic if you are making your very first go kart. Once you have got a little skill and experience you may want to attempt creating one from scratch. If you will be riding your gocart on level surfaces it is going to be easier and cheaper to construct. Off road go karts require a roll cage connected to the frame and are therefore more difficult and higher priced to build or purchase.
If you are planning on doing your own welding you ought to have a big flat surface to work on. You can use a cement floor, but a big work bench has two advantages. A work bench will allow you to work at a higher level and makes it possible to clamp things down.
Be sure all of the components are in the proper position
When welding your go kart frame the first thing you ought to do is precisely measure the precise midpoint of the front axle. Then, lay out the frame components in the proper place on the work bench. When everything is set, start by tack welding everything together, beginning with the front axle and working your way towards the rear bumper. Be sure the joints are welded sufficiently enough so that they will not separate when moving the frame around.
One last examination ahead of the final welding
Once tack welding is complete make an intensive examination of the frame alignment. It should be properly aligned and the frame ought to seem square. If you have followed the go kart frame plans correctly you ought to be Okay.
Your next step is to execute your concluding welding duties. Clamp the frame to the work bench, making sure it is straight, square, and aligned properly. This will keep the frame from bending or warping. Follow the directions that came with the kit and weld all of the joints. Once welding is completed it is a straightforward job to finish the kit based on the plans that came with the kit.

Can anyone recommend a decent DIY Mig Welder?
Can anyone recommend a decent DIY Mig Welder would prefer gasless will be using it for wrought iron work & home made go-carts
Thanx Tony
I agree the Hobart handler is great! Miller and Thermal Arc make good ones too. Don't go the "cheapy" route you will be very disappointed. I have helped quite a few friends that have bought the cheap welders only to see them get discouraged and then go out and get one of the name brand ones. So they ended up buying two welders and throwing away one. I have had a Hobart Handler for 20 years now with no problems.
