Gas-to-electric operation waiting on parts before powering up
JOHNSTOWN - Start up of the Fulton County Sanitary Landfill's new gas-to-electricity operation will have to wait a little longer. County officials said in early December they hoped to get the program on the grid by the end of the year. But the county Department of Solid Waste is still waiting on needed electrical parts and the program may not be operational until May.
