I have worked in the electrical trade for almost 10 years now. Something I have gleaned from my experience as an electrician is that to get the job done right you need the right tools. Klein has branded one of the most preferred tools within the electrical trade. Their tools are crafted to withstand the rigors of a hard days work on a dirty construction site. Comfort, coupled with superior design have set Klein apart as a leader in electrical tools manufacturing. If you are considering becoming an electrician, or you are looking to purchase the basic electrical tools needed to complete a home project, this article is aimed to help you adequately outfit your tool bag. Following is a list of basic tools that I would suggest starting out with:
- The first, and probably the most important tool, will be your tool pouch. The tool pouch will likely be worn throughout an entire day. This means that comfort and functionality are key. I am not suggesting spending a ton of money right out of the gate, but take it from me, an uncomfortable tool belt makes for a long day. A good beginner tool pouch would be the Klein 55210 a 10 pocket leather pouch with a belt. I would also suggest purchasing a few other items to make the belt complete. The Klein 5456 hammer holder and Klein 5197 Tape Rule Holder will keep your hammer and tape measure close at hand. Lastly you will need an extra pouch to put wire nuts or staples in. I suggest the Klein 5145 Utility Pouch.
- The second tool I would suggest is a good pair of long-nose pliers. Long-nose pliers are extremely versatile. They can be used to: Break box tabs, pull wire through a tight-corner, cut wire, form wire loops, and get in tight spaces. A good beginner pair of long-nose pliers would be the Klein D203-8.
- Next you will need a Lineman's Tool. These are your go to pliers for cutting larger groups of wires, twisting wires together for good connections, and crimping. There are many different styles and types out there, but a good basic choice would be the Klein D213-9NETP. This particular model has an added fish tape grip to assist with hard pulls.
- No electrician's tool belt would be complete without a set of Diagonal Cutting Pliers. These particular pliers are used for cutting things in tight spaces. And there are a lot of tight spaces within a homes walls. They are designed with superior cutting power. Making them great for cutting nails, screws, and wires flush. The Klein D248-8 will get the job done. This model has an angled head which helps to get into those tight spots.
- Your next purchase will have to be a few different types of screwdrivers. Screwdrivers come in many different options, here are the most important when considering electrical work: The Klein 603-3 and the Klein 603-4 are a #1 and #2 Phillips tip screwdriver. The Klein 605-4 and the Klein 605-6 are both flat tip screwdrivers. And finally, the Klein 670-6, this screwdriver is probably the coolest screwdriver you will ever use. It is from Klein's rapi-drive family of screwdrivers. It offers a crank-action handle that spins screws fast. It will save you time and effort when installing outlet and switch plates.
- The Klein 11045 wire strippers/cutters are a good choice for your wire stripping needs. They strip 10-18 gauge solid wire and offer wire looping holes.
- The last few tools that will be needed are: A good utility knife, (the Klein 44100 will work fine). A hammer, (the Klein 807-18 offers a straight claw and a good rubber grip). A tape measure, (the Klein 928-25HV is a good choice). And finally, a good pair of safety glasses. I would recommend Klein 60053 seeing as they are comfortable and offer good eye coverage.
Remember that a good set of tools can last a lifetime, and help you achieve the superior results expected of true professionals. I use Klein tools and would highly recommend them to an aspiring electrician or conscientious homeowner.

Climbing Is An Invigorating Sport
Climbing is a competitive sport that requires people to be in good physical and mental condition. The rugged terrains that are often encountered while out rock climbing in the wild, have the tendency to test a person's endurance levels past anything they have experienced before in their life. Rock climbing leaves people with a heightened sense of awareness and a greater appreciation for the outdoors.
They learn to enhance their self-esteem just by completing simple climbs that to a professional might seem boring, but once they have conquered that small task, they have built up confidence in their own abilities. While they are testing those abilities during the various stages of their training, they are also becoming more familiar with the equipment that could very well save their life one day. Every climber will gain experience and learn from everything they do that involves rock climbing.
People will get so stimulated by climbing rocks that they will choose to participate in rock climbing competitions to achieve more thrills. There are rock-climbing courses that are fashioned for beginners in the sport, and others will meet the needs of climbers who have perfected their talents to the intermediate and advanced levels. A person can achieve a good sense of well-being from just completing one course in the competitions and the true winners will be the ones who had the courage to sign-up in the first place. Some people learn a lot about themselves and others while participating in climbing competitions.
Climbing is a sport that grows on a person. It is certainly not something that is done without prior planning or thorough training. One of the first things that climbers will learn is that they never climb alone because beautiful scenery up in the mountains is meant to be shared by family and friends. Some families get interested in climbing when they go on whitewater rafting trips and see people climbing rocks above them along the river's path.

These are the people who are not wiling to listen to experienced climbers and think that they can accomplish a rock climb without having the necessary techniques under their belt to do it successfully. These people are the ones that guides have trouble managing and will not ever take up a mountain again until they display considerable progress on being able to work as a team member while climbing.
Rock climbing can be an invigorating but dangerous sport. Every member of a rock climbing group must have their wits and sensibilities about them at all times. Mistakes can cost people their lives and climbers who are not ready for various tasks should be comfortable with letting others know about it without just automatically doing it to save face in front of friends. No two climbers will see things alike and being an individual is still an important feature of climbing even if the person is in a group.

Why in a ladder match do the wrestlers climb so slowly? If they sped up they would get the belt?
I have seen this a few times now, generally they go so slow, surely it would be worth rushing before someone can catch them. Once i saw Jeff Hardy put the ladder too far away from the belt. Are they that tired straight away they cant move quicker? I think i could win a belt in a ladder match.
some people are saying it is fake, if it is fake why do they push people off the ladders? that is dangerous and is not 'acting'
Yes, of course some wrestlers do climb the ladder slowly but some of this is tactical. I know some of them deliberately climb slowly to try and tempt other wrestlers to climb up the other side and then punch them off - this is known as playing possum. Mr Fuji used to favour this approach with the wrestlers he managed.
Jeff Hardy puts the ladder further away so that he does not draw too much attention from his opponents, this way they think he is not going for the belt, he was taught this technique by Shawn Michaels' trainer - Jose Lothario.
