Here are some more information for Coat Jacket:

A coat is something that you will wear all year round. Even though the weather is nice during the day, most of the time, temperatures will cool down at night, sometimes, by 20 degrees or more. Therefore, having a coat is important for staying warm.
Unfortunately, the same coat does not work all year round. For each season, you will need a different type of coat. Sometimes, certain coats can be worn through multiple seasons. Other times, you will find yourself putting away one coat for another each season.
Below is a seasonal guide to the coat you will need. Read on to learn what types of coats work for which seasons.
Spring: Spring is a fantastic time of year. The sun is just starting to come out more often and it is starting to get a little warmer. Sometimes, you'll still feel the light breeze of winter, but more often than not, you will feel a bit warmer. The perfect coat for the Spring is a trench coat. The trench coat will keep you warm and even help to ward off the rain during those rainy Spring days. The trench coat is stylish, yet comfortable. It also works for the office and for the evening.
Another coat you may want to invest in is the rain coat. The rain coat is water proof and is usually made of vinyl. This vinyl material keeps you dry, makes it much more awkward to wear on a normal sunny day. If you can buy multiple coats, invest in a rain coat so your other coats won't become damaged as easily. If not, then simple buy a trench coat. Other Spring coats that are perfect are the cargo jacket and the jean jacket. Both are stylish and work for Spring.
Summer: Summer months bring a lot less need for a coat. Most of the time, a light cardigan will do. However, a summer jacket is handy to have around, especially at night when it gets a bit chilly. For the summer, try a nice linen coat for work. For casual days, linen is a good material still. Otherwise, try a cotton jacket which will provide a little more warmth. Overall, in the summer, enjoy your time off from your coats.
Fall: Fall brings with it all of the anticipation of the holidays. It is chillier in the fall and usually rains less than Spring. Winter is coming so you can start to brush off your winter coats. Fall coats are very similar to Spring. Trench coats are perfect for the fall since there is usually a protective inner lining that will help to keep you warm. It is also roomy enough that you can add a sweater underneath when it starts to get cold. For this reason, some people have worn their trench coats even during the winter.
Regardless, the trench coat is stylish and will last a long time. Most of the time, you can buy one in a longer length which will help to keep your legs warm. Another fall option is the pea coat. These short wool jackets are great for keeping you warm on top. Since it is fall and it isn't as cold as winter, the short jackets are a good option. Finally, suede or leather coats work well in the fall since they provide extra warmth that you don't need in the summer.
Winter: Winter is the season of coats. Many people have multiple winter coats. While the pea coat and trench coat can both be worn at this time, you will want something warmer if you experience snow and colder weather in your area. Look for a wool or cashmere coat that is long. Both materials will keep you very warm. Another coat is the down coat or the quilted coat or the puffy jacket. These coats have extra lining and the down or layers will keep you extra warm. Finally, if you can afford it, purchase a fur or mink coat. Both of these are very warm and very fashionable.
Beyond the seasonal coats are coats you need for the evening like satin or dress coats. Additionally, you will want the office blazer or suit jacket to wear to work and important meetings. Finally, you may want the more casual pullover or track jacket for when you work out or go hiking or jogging. A coat is a very important thing to have in your wardrobe. From the summer trench coat to the winter wool coat, make sure you have something that will keep you warm.

Oilskin Coats and Jackets
Necessity is the mother of invention. I'm not convinced that is the whole story. My curiosity and desire to understand how things came about led me to discover some amazing stories. That need-to-know has convinced me that more than a few times, great things are invented by everyday people who are just looking for a niche to fill that makes them a living. Although you may call that necessity because of the need to support ones self, but I believe that rule applies mostly to the necessity of a particular item, like a bread slicer. Such is my discovery about oilskin clothing.
I'm sure most of us (I include myself) have never heard of oilskin or never paid attention to its attributes. However, cowboys, range riders, bikers and sailors know all-to-well not to be caught in stormy weather with out it. The simplicity of this invention is amazing considering the speed it became a necessity in certain vocations. Oilskin has the ability to survive rough treatment from work environments that would ruin most other clothing, while being totally waterproof, windproof and warm. Oilskin coats have become the ultimate in harsh weather protection; sailors and bikers alike don't want to be caught without it, but let's get to the story behind this wonderful product. Edward Leroy, a retiring sailor in the 1800's, decided to settle in Austrailia, thus the beginning of the invention of oilskin. Having had a lifetime of sailing, Edward lacked the skill sets needed to get hired in this new and wild Frontier. There had to be something he could do to earn a living. Many ships were replacing their worn and weathered canvas sails with new ones, and the old canvas was being discarded. Edward discovered that if he soaked this old canvas in linseed oil, it renewed the canvas and made it waterproof and wind-resistant.
Edward cut the "oilskin" canvas he had invented and sewed the pieces into capes. Sailors, on shore leave at the port near his home, eargly bought his capes in the hopes of some relief from the driving rains of the monsoon season. Word spread quickly that Edward's capes could withstand the monsoon rains that wore down every sailor, keeping them warm and dry. Edward had created a lucrative niche business. It did not take long before this "Oilskin" product was shaped into actual coats and sold to Australian outback cowboys in need of the same protection. Tales were added, slits were put in the tails to allow the Long Coat to be comfortable while riding a horse, and tie-downs added to keep the wind from lifting them. I doubt that Edward ever had a notion that is little invention that simply earned him a living would become so sought after throughout the world.
Edward's original oil-soaked canvas has gone through many transitions, but the principle is still the same. Time has refined the process; modern ways of softening the material, more attractive finishes, and contemporary designs - but Edward's main priciple is the same. The Oilskin coat has taken sailors and range riders through the roughest weather for over a century, and Bikers have made it the clothing of choice to carry when they travel light. There are many makers of Oilskin clothing, and a lot of imitations, but Australia still remains the quality producer of this wonderful material.
