Everybody is responsible for electrical safety. It should be observed every time you use something that is connected to an electrical circuit. Electrical safety is crucial especially when you have children at home.
Appliances are already a part to every household. They make our lives more comfortable and help us in our chores. When your appliance is not in use, it is advisable to unplug them and keep the cords away from young children and pets. If you are using appliances that generate heat (e.g. televisions, computers, refrigerator, etc.) make sure that they have ample clearance for good air circulation for cooling and don't drape them with clothes or other items. If there is a need for repair, let a pro do this and do not attempt to do it yourself. Remember to keep your hands dry and avoid standing on water when operating an appliance. You must place combustible things such as clothes three feet away from radiators, heating vents and heat sources.
Every electrical appliance comes with a cord. It is important to keep them in good condition since faulty cords can cause accidents. You should always check cords for cracks or breaks. They should plug firmly on outlets. Never staple or use nails to keep cords in place instead, use electrical tapes. Minimize the use of extension cords if possible. Don't forget to see if the cord used is for indoors or outdoors as this will make a difference. Another thing that you should take notice on is the outlet being used. If it is not in use, place solid cover plates over them. Avoid overloading an outlet by not plugging multiple adaptors.

Can I plug my welder into the dryer outlet?
Little Red Lincoln AC-225 230V K1170. (I would have to change out the cord so the plug would match.)
The dryer plugs into an outlet that has 2 30 amp breakers.
If the welder draws no more than 30 amps it would be fine. (And your dryer does not have "2" breakers, its called a double pole, which is used for 240 Volt circuits)
