Here are some more information for Cpu Board:

The motherboard, or mainboard, is called that because all of the other components plug into it, and it is used as a hub of sorts for all of the components to communicate with each other. When buying a motherboard, the most important things to know is what CPU it is compatible with, what kind of memory, or RAM, it is compatible with, and the speed of the frontside bus.
CPU Compatibility:
The two main types of Motherboards follow along with the two main brands of CPU's, being AMD or Intel. An AMD CPU will NOT work in a motherboard configured for Intel CPU's and vice versa. Also, most motherboards have a range of speeds that they are compatible with (example) like 500 Mhz to 1.0 Ghz. Any higher would require a different motherboard.
Speed is not the only factor though, there are a lot of different styles of CPU, and each motherboard should tell you exactly what type of CPU it accepts. These are the reasons why you typically replace the CPU and the Motherboard at the same time, because they are so dependant on each other.
Don't worry if this is all going over your head, they sell bundles for just this occasion called Barebone Computers, which is usually a case, motherboard and CPU combo so you can't go wrong with these.
RAM Compatibility:
There are various types of RAM these days, which are described here, but to note them quickly, they are SDRAM, DDR and RDRAM. They all serve the same basic purpose, just in a slightly different way and speed. It is important to know what type of RAM your motherboard takes and the maximum amount you can have in it at one time, which is usually noted in the description of the motherboard.
Video Card Compatibility:
Video cards are not all created equally, there are several different types of video cards now, especially on the high end. The most common being AGP, and PCI Express. Though there are also various types within these groups. PCI Express is still new and doesn't have many variations yet, but AGP has been around and has several different variations, like AGP 4x, and AGP 8x, etc.
Most of the newer versions are backwards compatible, meaning that they will accept older versions, but it does not work the other way around, so you usually can not put an AGP 8x card into a motherboard that is labeled as only accepting up to AGP 4x.
Hard Drive Compatibility:
There are couple different types of hard drive interfaces today, being IDE, SATA, and SCSI. These interfaces are not cross compatible, so you need to know what kind of hard drives you have, or intend to purchase, and make sure that the motherboard you purchase supports the interface for that hard drive.
Front Side Bus (FSB):
Front Side Bus is important to know because if your RAM and CPU have high speeds and your motherboard does not, communication speed is limited and creates a bottle neck. While it is not necessary to get all of them exact, it is good to try to get them as close as possible.
Some other things to note about choosing motherboards are what features are built into them. These days it is not uncommon to see Audio, Lan and Video built into your motherboard. If you don't need amazing audio sound or an expensive video card, it's usually sufficient and MUCH cheaper than buying all of these separately.

How to Troubleshoot Your Mother Board
Troubleshooting is the process of knowing the issue; determine the reason for that issue, finding a fix for the issue, applying the fix, then checking if the fix has fixed your issue. These are the steps you need to check before you fix any issue and putting everything back to normal. Before starting the process make sure that the issue has not resulted from a change in options in Windows Settings or BIOS or some Virus or Spyware activity.
Your mother board is the backbone or nervous system of your computer, every device in your computer depends on your mother board to ensure optimum functionality. It connects all the devices in a PC and checks that devices are communicating effectively between them. Common sign’s of mother board failure are that the PC won’t boot, doesn’t reach the BIOS test screen, scrambled text during and after the BIOS text screens, unusual system hangs, different combinations of devices not working.
Since all the devices are connected to the motherboard certain devices may not work if the mother board is having issues so be sure to test those devices before throwing then out and buying new devices. First step would be a inspection of the mother board, to make sure all cables are connected properly, the fans are running at optimal speeds, and that the BIOS battery is working.
If the cables are not connected properly, the mother board may refuse to start. For example in some old mother boards you can connect the IDE Cable in the wrong direction. Ensure that PIN 1 on the mother board matches with the Color Coded Wire on the Hard Disk Cable.
Dying fans are another cause for mother board issues. An old fan would operate at lesser RPM and might not provide sufficient cooling for the CPU, and if the CPU temperature reaches a Particular level the Mother Board would halt the system. Also check for any broken or leaking capacitors and burn spots on the back of the mother board, these can immediately render a motherboard useless.
Other major reason for Mother Board failure would be an ageing SMPS Units. You can test your power supply in 2 ways. There are software’s like Mother Board Monitor and ASUS PC Probe (works only with ASUS MB) which would give you details about the Voltages being used by the Mother Board or you need to get a spare SMPS and test it by swapping with your current SMPS.
If you can borrow a friends mother board you can try exchanging the motherboard with yours to see if it resolves your issues, if your PC works fine then you need a mother board replacement. If you think the motherboard is faulty and it is still in warranty you should be able to send it back to the manufacturer for a new one. Ensure that when you buy a mother board you should keep all of the packing and the box and warrenty cards, and there would be some labels that will bar the warranty if tampered with make sure you do NOT tamper them.

is sometime a mother board of a computer may cause the slow speed of cpu?
my computer is rrunnig slow even after i have deactivated maximum programme from the start up. I think I have a problem with the RAM(128) installed in my PC and eventually problem with the mother board and as a result delay response of the programmes.
Yes the perfomance of the pc depends on RAM and processor sometimes motheboard also decreases the performance when it doesn't match properly with your processor or have any technical problem but this happens in few cases
