Clouds are very important to a landscape painting. In many cases, you can see more of the sky than of the ground in a painting. For this reason, we want to make our skies look their best. This article will go over some quick tips that will help you with this.
The first thing we need to look at is the overall shape of the cloud. Look at the outside edges. Many people assume that clouds are all round and puffy. In reality, you will see triangular shapes and straight lines in addition to the round ones. Look carefully, and take your time. It may not look correct because you are not used to it, but let your eyes tell you what is really there.
Next, we want to look at values. I like to simplify my values. Look for pure white, light gray, medium gray, dark gray, and pure black. Of course, you will rarely see pure black in clouds. In fact, you might not see any pure white a lot of times. It helps to separate values into two different either highlights or shadows. The highlights will consist of white and light gray. The shadows will consist of medium gray or darker values. Observe carefully because if you get the values correct in your painting, the lighting effects on the cloud will take care of themselves.
After we have looked at some of the values, we can look for other ways to make our clouds look better. Keep in mind that you can do these techniques in whatever order you prefer. At any rate, the next thing that we can do is look at negative space. Look at the blue sky behind the clouds. Look at what shapes it makes. You can use this as a guide to help you get your clouds placed in the correct location and to get the shapes of the clouds correct.
By now, you should have a good idea of how to paint clouds that look a little bit more realistic. It is really not that difficult. Just observe carefully and put down exactly what you see. With a little practice, your landscapes will start to look more masterful.

Welding Protection Equipment
Beyond the welding torch and equipment a welder uses to do their work, there's also a need for certain welding equipment and protective clothing to be certain that welder is safe. There are a selection of items that are necessary to the welder's safety. Here are some of the most significant :

Boots - make sure your boots are fire retardant and that they are above-the-ankle because they will protect you from fire. Confirm also that you lace them all of the way and put your pants inside the boots. These are extra safety measures that will keep you protected when you are welding.
Respirators -- when you're in a location where ventilation isn't perfect, you must use a respirator. If they do not provide them they should be in a position to give you the kind you want for being compliant.
General safety procedures -- be sure that you are wearing the right garments while welding. Confirm garments are manufactured from a heavy one hundred percent cotton or wool and the fabric is built firmly. This could defend against open flames and any hot metal that sparks.
