12v 10.5 gpm 40 Series Fuel Oil Transfer Pump for Biodiesel Diesel Kerosene Sale Price: $109.00 |
|
Diesel / Biodiesel Pumps 40, 60 & 80 Series Light Oil Pumps Not for use with vegetable oil and other such heavy oils These pumps are designed for light oil pumping applications such as diesel fuel, biodiesel and kerosene. These pumps cannot handle thicker oils such as vegetable oil, transmission fluid or motor oil. Fit with Viton seals, they are 100% biodiesel compatible. Use this pump for fueling vehicles, transfering fluids, filtering fluids & more. The primary function of this pump is for fueling vehicles with an automatic nozzle. The pump will build up pressure to 44 psi max and then be unable to pump anymore. No bypass is needed as the pump will not damage itself when the oil flow is stopped (usually by a nozzel) The pump should not be left on for a long period of time when restricted, as it will wear down the vanes, but it is ok for normal usage. Included with this pump are 2 straight hose barb fittings which use a viton oring to form a proper seal with the pump. Although the fittings on the pump are straight thread, most NPT fittings can be made to fit when using yellow teflon tape. Here are some more information for Diesel Fuel:

With the growing costs of gasoline and diesel fuel around the world, people are going to great lengths to find means of prolonging the life of their limited fuel dollars.
One method that has been proven to be effective in stretching the fuel buck is the process of using additives that are known to make automobiles run more efficiently, which in turn, reduces the consumption of gas. At today's prices believe me we all want better mileage from the diesel fuel we put into our vehicles.
From a consumer's perspective better fuel mileage is more money in the bank. But the benefits of FuelBoost Diesel Additive go far beyond simply stretching the dollars that go into the fuel tank of your automobiles, or for that matter, fuel that comes from traditional pumps. Additives also works with alternative fuels that are used by those who not only wish to save money but also wish to contribute in efforts to minimize their personal impact on global warming.
As far as the possible equipment that allows for use of an additive the possibilities are wide indeed. Diesel engines are a prime candidate for an additive with the powered down formulas of todays diesel fuel blends.
When you think of all the diesel engines that are on the market these days you should realize that this means that diesel additives are an excellent choice for busses, cars, trucks, boats, tractors, and farm equipment that rely on diesel fuel.
The many reasons why using a reliable safe diesel additive are many and include things such as: eliminating the sludge and debris that may be gumming up the works causing loss of power and lower gas mileage, lowering emissions that lead to pollution and a larger personal footprint when it comes to global warming, fewer repairs over the lifetime of the vehicle that uses FuelBoost regularly as opposed to fuel with no additive.
You should also notice much lower maintenance needs such as new fuel filters and the like because the fuel is running cleaner. Little things like this save much more money over time than you may realize over the fuel savings alone.
If you are like most Americans you have done your part to make sure that you are lowering the consumption of diesel you go through in an average drive. Things such as adjusting air pressure, turning off the air conditioner, and avoiding stop and start traffic whenever possible go a long way towards saving you money.
These things save pennies, which add up fast. FuelBoost however saves nickels and dimes, which add up much more quickly in the long run.
Take your dollars back and place them in your pockets rather than those of greedy oil companies by using fuel additives such as FuelBoost Diesel Additive to get the most value for your diesel dollars.
If you travel a great deal or use your vehicles, tractors, or farm equipment daily for work you might be absolutely amazed at how cost effective this additive makes the fuel buying process when compared to purchasing diesel fuel without the helpful benefits of a premium additive.
I hope that gives you some ideas where an additive would become proactive in your maintenance program. I have also given some links below where you may find some solid track record products.

The Benefits Of Using Diesel Fuel
With the world focusing firmly on green energy efficiency, the chances are as a motorist you have pulled up at the petrol pumps and wondered what the difference is between unleaded and diesel fuels, or whether one is better to use than another.
In recent times, the impact on the environment of burning fossil fuels has been prominent in the news and ethical oil companies are striving to improve the quality and efficiency of all fuel supplied at the pumps. In conjunction with motor manufacturers, they are looking at how they can make your car run more efficiently and therefore have a potentially less damaging impact on the environment.
Of course, as already touched upon the current keywords for anything to do with fuels and energy consumption are ‘green’ and ‘efficient’. We are bombarded daily with messages from a range of eco-friendly sources telling us to cut our fuel and energy consumption if possible, or if not to switch to more eco-friendly fuels.
In the past diesel, although traditionally giving more miles to the gallon than unleaded fuel and therefore a cheaper option for many motorists, has been considered more damaging to the environment than its unleaded counterpart. However, enlightened oil producers have concentrated in not only making diesel more eco-friendly but also highly efficient. Such innovative products are known as high performance diesel.
This is how such fuels work. One of the major barriers to engine efficiency is the build up of deposits in diesel fuel injection systems. When this occurs the engine’s efficiency drops considerably, therefore relatively increasing pollution and reducing the green worthiness of a vehicle.
Modern high performance diesel engines are precision engineered and require sophisticated diesel injection equipment to deliver multiple fuel injections into the combustion chamber every second. But with lesser quality fuels, deposits can build up on the fuel injectors of new diesel engines, impairing the fuel spray and thereby reducing the flow. As such, this can lead to power loss as a result of non-optimum combustion.
High performance diesel is designed not only to prevent such deposits forming in engines, but also to attack already laid-down deposits from the use of other fuel. Such cleaning agents within the fuel ensure that engine performance remains constant, delivering top performance for longer.
As a quality fuel, drivers will pay a higher price at the pumps for high performance diesel, but over the lifetime of a vehicle its performance will remain constant, paying back that extra investment. Although not directly contributing to reducing carbon emissions, by making more efficient use of their vehicles high performance fuel users will also do their bit for the environment.

How high of pressure is there in a diesel fuel injection return line?
I know rail pressure in a diesel engine is 15kpsi easily, and I assume there is a fuel pressure regulator attached to a return line that goes back into the tank or back in before the high pressure fuel pump.
My question is, if you cut off the flow in the return line, could the pressure build up to the bursting point of the hose?
Some diesel engines use a shutoff valve in the injector pump return line to stop the engine.
Most high pressure systems are designed to withstand at least 50% more pressure than they could possibly see in service.
