why does my seat belt lock up under normal driving conditions in my 2007 jeep liberty?
when i reach forward toward the dash or glove box my seat belt locks up and will not let me lean forward again. I have to unbuckle at the latch and rebuckle.
It should only lock when you punch on the brakes heavily if it is doing so with out that than it is a Safety issue. No matter weather out of warranty or not .Chrysler cares about the safety of it's customers and will fix that usually at no cost to you because of the safety issue don't try to fix this your self take it to your local Chrysler dealer and have it fixed at minimal cost or probably even nothing .Thanks
