Here are some more information for Dynamics Plasma:

Imagine that you are travelling from New York to Seattle via an underground tunnel. A tunnel via the center of the earth would be 0 gravity much similar to space. The space does not have any gravity.
Similarly the gravitational force of attraction varies as the distance between the center of the Earth and the object. So when an object approaches the center of the Earth its weight becomes zero. According to classical laws of motion the object will travel in Simple Harmonic Motion and will reach Seattle from New York in about 42 mins.
Can you actually travel inside the Earths Surface. What would be the limitations?. The limitations would be the heat inside the Earth. Another limitation would be the water present inside the Earths Surface.
Both these would prevent constructing a network of tunnels inside the surface. Also it may take ages before a tunnel system of transport can be publicly constructed.
The only advantage of travelling via a shortest path inside the Earth is the absence of gravity and also the distance would be shorter inside the Earth rather than on the surface. Also it may not be possible to dig the Earth due to environmental concerns as it would cause damage to our natural geological environment.
But the surface of the moon presents an ideal scenario for constructing a tunnel because of the absence of water inside the surface of the Moon. This will create a perfect vacuum for any material object to travel inside.

Clarifying The Technology Behind LCD Plasma TVs
Technology is an amazing thing. It constantly progresses. If you buy a new television set now, then in a few months or a year, the technology will be considered outdated.
It is hard to keep up with all of the options and developments with television technology, but if you have a base knowledge about LCD plasma TVs, then you will be ahead of the pack. Once you know the basics you will have a great start when it comes time to make your next TV purchase.
You may not care about the difference in technology between a cathode-ray television and the LCD plasma TVs. Most people really just care about the picture quality and the sound quality. It is not any wonder. A person can become mesmerized by the clear, crisp colors.
The smooth motions of the people on screen. The sound coming out of the speakers and you cannot forget about the slim design. But maybe knowing a little about the inner workings of these wonderful machines may be a good idea.
Each of the pixels in a new plasma flat screen television is controlled by individual specialized electronics. This technology allows for billions of colors. You get clear resolution, excellent picture color and no distortion, all while having a tv that is six inches thick.
Compare that to the huge, bulky models of the past. The kind of box that required three people to move it versus the plasma screen television that one person can carry.
The rage in technology during the 1980's and early 1990's was the big screen television. It stood about five feet tall and had a resolution that was atrocious. The picture, rather than looking sharp and crisp, was distorted and the colors were faded.
You do not have to sacrifice screen size in exchange for crystal clear picture and dynamic colors. You can get a 60 inch Plasma tv! It is big enough to feed your tv or gaming habit and still give you enough room in your living room for some furniture.
LCD plasma TVs are still relatively expensive when you consider the non-plasma or LCD models. But as more come out in production, the price will begin to fall. For a typical 30 inch plasma television, you can expect to pay around $800, depending on where you purchase.
Larger screens will naturally be more expensive and can easily top the $1500 mark. Much of the price depends on the size, model and where you buy your electronics. Larger retail stores will often be your best location.

what are some applications of magnetohydrodynamic technology?
Magnetohydrodynamics (MHD) is the discipline which studies the dynamics of electrically conducting fluids. The idea of MHD is that magnetic fields can induce currents in a moving conductive fluid, which create forces on the fluid, and also change the magnetic field itself. The set of equations which describe MHD are a combination of the Navier-Stokes equations of fluid dynamics and Maxwell's equations of electromagnetism. MHD is a fluid theory and as such it cannot treat kinetic phenomena, i.e. those in which the existence of discrete particles or of a non-thermal velocities distribution, are important.
THE QUESTION AT HAND IS: With the theory behind MHD given, what do you think are applications that use MHD besides plasma confinement, liquid-metal cooling of nuclear reactors, and electromagnetic casting?
As an interested student in fluid flows, I wonder if any souls on here have thought of some application that could benefit current machinery and/or processes.
Here is one application that is actually in development and may fly in space in a few years.
