Here are some more information for Electrode Kit:

Can one really use water instead of gas? There seems to be a lot of talk at the moment that we can use water instead of gas to run a car. Or water instead of gas to run a truck.
Water is a more plentiful and sustainable commodity than oil so it would be wonderful if some scientist could come up with a system that could use water instead of gas to run a motor (or alternately a different type of motor that will use water instead of gas). A motor that uses water instead of gas may well be totally different to what we are used to today.
Could you just imagine how much cheaper it would be? The majority of the earths surface is covered in water and is continually replenished with rain.
Every country in the world would be self sufficient in its fuel requirements if we could find a way to use water instead of gas - every country that is except those that are covered by vast deserts. Now there's a bit of irony for you!
The truth is though that, at the moment, there is no method whereby we can use water instead of gas to run our cars, but you can install a small conversion kit into your existing vehicle which uses the gas from water to reduce or improve your fuel consumption.
If you think about it when old Jed Clampett fired that "fatal" round and discovered oil in "them there hills" way back when, the chemists or scientists still had to find some method to convert the crude oil into a refined state that would cause it to burn and allow us to use it for fuel for propulsion.
We know there are hundreds of highly flammable gases that will run an engine. The trouble has always been sustainability, the cost of extraction, refinement, production and distribution.
We humans are a race that seems to consume our natural resources with scant regard for our future and we are now beginning to pay the price..
It's beginning to catch up with us rather rapidly as can be seen from our global warming.
And lately the cost of fuel has shot through the roof causing this frantic search for an alternative fuel source.
If you can't use water instead of gas as a primary source of fuel, what do I mean by saying you can use water to improve your fuel consumption?
There is a well known chemical process where water, which is made up of two parts hydrogen and one part oxygen (H2O), is subjected to an electrical current by means of a negative and positive electrode to separate these two gases from each other.
The result is Oxygen and a very clean burning gas HHO, known as Brown's Gas or Hydroxy.
In trying to search for an alternate fuel source it has been found that this highly flammable but clean burning gas can be added to the fuel intake of vehicles.
By adding this gas to your usual fuel much less gas is required to go the same distance.
Before you go filling up your tank with water instead of gas be warned it won't work just yet.
At the moment there are no commercially manufactured units available so people are making and installing their own "water for gas" systems. The intriguing thing about these home made systems is that they are easy to make from readily available parts and very easy to install.
For under $150.00 and a couple of hours work you can be on the road and saving yourself a fortune in fuel costs with increased consumption in excess of 80%.
These systems perform best where they are perfectly sealed - creating a vacuum where no HHO escapes and no air can enter.
What were my initial concerns with this?
Firstly did it work? Well yes it most certainly do.
Is it sustainable? It would seem so but I guess that is up to us as a race.
Can anyone do it and does it fit all cars? Again - a resounding yes to both questions.
Will it have any long term negative effects on your car? So far all reports are that not only does it have no negative effects but it is in fact cleaner burning, produces less noise, less pollution and generates more power.
Does it take up a whole heap of space (I had visions of needing a second hood)? No very little space is required and the unit can fit quite comfortably within the confines of your current engine.
How much water will I need to cart around? This system needs very little water. You will not have to have your backseat replaced to accommodate a water tank. All the water you will need sits under the bonnet in a little jar.
I would not be surprised to find one day that we can use water instead of gas to run our cars, or water instead of gas to fly our planes or trains - its almost ironic that the first trains were steam engines.
When you think of how far we have advanced with our communications technology over a very short period of time, from party lines to mobile phones in less than thirty years, the day when we will be able to use water instead of gas to propel our cars cannot be too far away.
Or if not water instead of gas then some other cheaper sustainable fuel.
Being a "green" resolution to our fuel emissions there are also tax advantages (in certain countries like the USA) to installing one of these systems in your car.
I for one cannot wait for the day when we can fully use water instead of gas in our cars.
It would be even better if the boffins are able to take it one step further and find a way to generate gas from or "grey water".
Its time we humans learn to create something useful out of all the waste we generate?
Use water instead of gas - bring it on I say.
Arnold Kolodziej, a self confessed "petrol head", loves two things in life: driving and tinkering with his car. The Water for Fuel industry is something he is keen to embrace and believes an alternative has to be found.
He is currently running a Water4Gas system in his own 2002 Nissan Skyline and gets just over 50 mpg. Read why he chose Water4Gas here.
What Using the Hid Xenon Kits Means
People are often looking to make relatively small investments into their vehicles to make it a more enjoyable and safe ride for everybody. One of the ways that they can do that is by purchasing a HDI xenon kit. An HID Xenon kit allows you to install headlights that go far beyond making your car look better. They also make it easier to see at night. The light they produce is more intense and has a bigger range than those of the halogen headlights that most people use today. In fact, in many cases you can see anywhere between 3 and 5 times better.
The HID xenon kits can provide over 300 percent of the light that you are now getting from your halogen bulb. The light produced by the HID kits often simulates the daytime with a clear white light, though there are always blue and purple bulbs available that work just as well. With the HID xenon kit installed in your car you can see the reflection of signs and road markings much better than you could with the common halogen headlights.
Instead of the filament and the non reactive gases that you normally see in household use, and the filaments that are surrounded with quartz and halogen gases that you see in the everyday halogen headlights you get a more efficient system with the HID xenon kits.
While halogen uses gases to help your headlights last longer and shine brighter than your household lights, the HID headlights use the gases to produce the lights. The lights in the HID xenon kit use a micro-discharge bulb that is later filled with a mixture of noble gases. These gases of course include xenon. There are absolutely no filaments in these bulbs. Instead, two electrodes create the light arc. This in turn gives a greater range in illumination.
In order to convert a car or a motorcycle you need a several different things. They include ballasts, or amplifiers, igniters, if they aren't built into the ballast already, HID headlights, and the 20 amp fuses for when you start up. If it turns out that your car uses sealed halogen beams then you'll need to get a sealed beam converter. If you'd rather you could try using a wiring harness, an upgraded factory harness, and some relays.
You can use an HID xenon kit for almost every type of vehicle there is. The biggest limitation is that the high/low bulbs do not function. Normally these would be bulbs with two filament ; however with the HID kit converter you can't get both high beams and low beams.
In order to find the HID xenon kit that will work best for your car you need to do some research. Know everything you can about our car and it's current headlights, and it doesn't hurt to take it to a professional. The HIS conversion kits in general are kind of pricey, so you want to be sure you get the best one for your money.

Where can I buy magnesium and iron electrodes for a science experiment?
My stepson wants to make a simple battery listed at miniscience.com. They sell the kit for $25 plus $10 shipping. I can find most of the parts at a hardware store, but I'm not sure if they will have the magnesium and iron electrodes. Is that something I could find there or at Radio Shack or somewhere else?
The common nail should work for the Fe. There are fire starter kits which include a chunk of Mg that can be carved off in shavings. A potential substitute might be Zn. Galvanized steel is coated with Zn because Zn is higher on the electromotive series and will corrode preferentially to the Fe. Mg is higher on the series so it will produce a higher voltage. Technically, you can use any two different metals but the voltage produced depends on which two metals you use.
good luck
