whats the difference between a plasma arc and a plasma cutter ?
hi! im interested in buying a plasma cutter and i know some brands like hobart,esab,and miller oh yeah and Lincoln but i heard that plasma arc and plasma cutter are the same thing and i was looking at ebay and it showed a plasma cutter with a welder using it with a stick rod sticking out of it any help between the difference does plasma cutter and plasma arc take and do?
The second answer doesn't really tell me and thing of what. A plasma welder does. Does it cut?
plasma arc is for welding metels. plasma cutter is for cutting metels. "miller is the best". look at the amp of machines when shopping and the duty cycle.
