On some car DVD systems whenever I try to insert or remove an SD card, the screen goes back up too quickly. What can be done about this?
The CVGX-C30-GPS uses a slightly different approach to screen raising or lowering. If you press on the eject / angle button it will raise or lower depending on your previous instructions. If you press and hold, the screen will raise or lower fully, so you have full control of how you want the unit to respond. -
You mentioned that this product is compatible with iPods and iPhones. Will my 3rd generation iPod Nano will work with it?
We tested iPod compatibility using a 3rd generation iPod Nano 4GB. Furthermore, a second generation iPhone 3g was used to test iPhone compatibility. -
When the DVD is playing I have trouble accessing the menu. What can be done?
The secret to menu access is to remember that by touching the video playing portion of the screen you bring up the menu. If you tap outside of the video area you adjust the screen. -

Is the magnetic base of the GPS antenna strong enough to be placed on a moving car?
Yes, the antenna comes with a very powerful magnet. Not as strong as Magneto's mutant powers, but pretty strong. It'll stay stuck on despite the rockiest ride. -

If you can flux weld, will you be able to gas weld? Are they the same level of difficulty?
I'm new to wire feed welding. I may buy a flux welder [no gas] rather than a gas welder for the simple reason it is cheaper.
Flux welding will give a deeper weld penetration, but gas welding is so much cleaner. And you don't have to remove the flux afterwards.
I try to never flux weld. The spatter is not worth it and the flux is a real mess to have to chip off. My welds look great uaing a shielding gas.
If you want good looking consistent welds, get a real gas mig welder.
