it is 3in long round and has to be bored stright through and about 1/2 in round can anyboudy help
look in your local phone book for machine shops. If they can't help you, they can point you in the right direction.
But forging takes very heavy equipment and special dies, and is not done for 1 part. But perhaps the entire thing could be machined out of a hunk of steel.
you might check out antique automobile magazines or web sites. Old car owners frequently have to have parts machined for them.
