i burned a circulon pan down and out of water in my kitchen and my bronze manikins were about 10 feet away. ?
i got them out of the room immedidately, as soon as i could smell the fumes (i was in another room, not very smart i know) and they seem to be ok, but i can still smell it. it's been about half an hour. they are TEENY tiny little birds too.
Thanks for the advice. I removed the birds from the room right away, opened the kitchen windows and the one near the birdcage and left a fan (as well as the rangehood fan that had been on the whole time, even during the burning) on all night. of course i kept the door closed to the room where my birds were as welll. the next morning everyone was fine and they still are. Thanks again!
Yes open up the windows, dampen a tea towel and flap it about using both hands, like a fan. I am forever burning stuff (forgetful) and find this helps to disperse smoke and fumes.
The birds should be ok if you got them out straight away, just make sure they are as far away from the source of fumes as possible.
