Lawn mower doesn't start after a fuel with wrong oil/gas ratio?
Our lawn mower had not been used for 3 months and I went to start it last weekend. I should have refilled it with 1:25 gas/oil fuel, but I guess I used more oil and it did not start. I made it upside down and emptied all fuel and refilled it with proper 1:25 fuel but it still does not start. Any suggestions?
I would pull the spark plug and clean and dry it. then put a squirt of gas down the cylinder, replace the plug and give it a pull. if it starts and runs for a second and then stops again you may need to clean the carb. I bet its just a fouled plug. you may also need to buy a new plug. I would bet it is not a two stroke lawn mower and you have oil all over your plug.
