Plastic is one of the wastes which are considered as the environmental unfriendly. However, there are some plastics which are recyclable through curbside recycling, drop-off centers or grocery store drop bins. You can recognize the type of the plastic on its bottom through the triangle.
Recycling plastic, you will need help. You can call the Department of Public Works in your country to know the type of the plastic which can be recycled and the place to recycle it. For the recycling information, you can call the state recycling information.
To help you ease the recycling process, you can raise and sort the plastic containers accordingly to its type. It is to avoid the contamination as the recycling process begins.
Recycle plastic containers from type one which is known as PETE and types two which is known as HDPE at your curb just like what the local instructions say. Type one and two plastic containers include detergent containers, some plastic bags, and bottles of soft drink, cooking oil, water, juice, and milk.
Plastic grocery bag should not be included in the recycling process since there are two types of plastic bags, type two and type four or LDPE. In this case, most of the large chain grocery stores provide bins in the store to accommodate your plastic bags. Plastic from type two and four usually can be mixed. However, you have to read the signs first for sure. Before recycling, clean out your plastic bags.
Type of plastic which cannot be recycled is type three which is commonly used as vegetables oil bottles and plastic food wrap, type five which is commonly used as the syrup bottles, yogurt containers, some bags, diapers, some food wrap, and also bottle tops, type seven which is used commonly used as mixed plastic.
Then, crush the plastic containers so that you can ease the recycling process. After you have classified those plastic containers and bags, call the local recycling center. However, you have to make sure that everything is ready.
To note, most of plastic products are made through plastics injection molding. With this process, you will be able to create a lot plastic containers with the shape you desire. With good injection molding machine, you will get high quality product.

RECYCLING?? ( HDPE and PETE) (the triangle with the 1 or 2 in it)?
Two plastics that are targeted for recycling from household waste are PETE (1) ( plastic soft drink bottles/ peanut butter and salad dressing containers) and HDPE (2) ( milk, water, juice containers/ plastic grocery bags). One of the problems of recycling such materials is separating them. Suppose you have been hired to set up a process for separating large quantities (many tons) of waste plastic that is a mixture of PETE and HDPE. Describe how you might perform this separation.

I don't think recyclers sort them out individually. They throw them in a huge melting pot and the different plastics in liquid form rest at different levels. Drain off the level that is that particular plastic.
To have millions and millions of plastic containers all inspected individually is just too time consuming and makes recycling too expensive!
