Besides a helmet and some pants, what other articles must you wear to ride a motorcycle in california 
?
I know in Cali you must wear a helmet when riding. But, are there other regulations like certain gloves, a jacket, or boots? So far I plan on riding with a helmet and my street clothes. I might take a jacket, but I want to know if I need to buy one first.

the only things required by law is a helmet ,goggles or glasses,and closed toed shoes otherwise it is up to the rider how much gear he wears I chose to wear a Joe Rocket jacket ,full fingered gloves,boots that cover my ankles and a full-face helmet and wouldn't consider getting on my bike without wearing any of the gear I've mentioned ,just don't go out and ride n shorts and a tank top with sandals there's so much debris on the road and getting hit with a small rock at 50 mph fricking hurts even with the gear on
