Here are some more information for Hot Air:

Hydronic, or hot water, heating has been standard for years in many parts of the U.S. It is seeing a surge in popularity at present, mainly because of the increasing use of radiant floor heating, which is known for providing even, comfortable heat. Yet contrary to popular belief, not every home in the free world needs hydronic heat to achieve this level of comfort.
Apples to Oranges
Hydronic heat is sometimes touted as more comfortable than forced-air heat. But since the typical hydronic system is significantly more expensive than the typical hot-air system, especially if cooling is included, this is an apples-to-oranges comparison. Customers willing to invest in a quality hot-air system, rather than a bare-bones package at the lowest price, will find that forced hot air can be as comfortable as hydronic heating. Unfortunately, if the heating system is hot water and the home owner doesn't spend the extra up front to cool their home, their finished home may be still too expensive to add the cooling system later and probably imposable to even install without doing even more expensive and inconvenient remodeling to accommodate such an install. Or the homeowner may have to add a window air conditioner instead to each of the rooms in the home. Another system maybe a ductless system that is not as efficient as the central split system design on a standard forced air install.
The least expensive forced-air system usually includes a single-stage furnace with a single-speed blower motor. The entire house is ducted as a single zone, and therefore has just one thermostat. If the system is sized by a contractor who uses a rule-of-thumb formula to estimate heat loss and heat gain, the homeowner can end up paying higher-energy bills for a noisier, less efficient system that provides uneven temperatures from room to room.
A quality forced-air system would probably include a Coleman two-stage furnace with a variable-speed blower motor.
The house would be separated into several zones, I recommend Arzel Zoning Systems, with separate thermostats, and the air would be distributed through well-sealed, insulated ducts. In many cases, such an upgraded hot-air system will still cost less than a hydronic system.

Boost Your Enjoyment Of Your Holiday With A Hot Air Balloon Ride
One thing that every person should do whilst holidaying especially in the Loire Valley in France visiting the incredible historic castles is to take the time to go on a ride in a hot air balloon. Although most of us have been in a plane and glanced out the window at the world below, there is nothing quite like ballooning and enjoying the wind in your hair as you glide above the world looking at these amazing architectural treasures. Imagine spectacular renaissance castles, charming villages, and sun-flower-filled hillsides viewed from a hot-air balloon. The perspective is incredible.
Most people only consider taking a ride in an air balloon on a special occasion such as a birthday or an anniversary, but you should not miss the opportunity to have the memorable adventure floating over the region. It will add another dimension to your vacation as well as giving up fabulous photography opportunities. What is more it is a wonderful adventure for a family to undertake together.
The cost is actually very reasonable and probably less expensive than a balloon flight for the same duration in England or America. There are a few ballooning companies in France. You simply call them up or ask your host to on your behalf and inquire regarding their schedule as well as the cost.
The price can vary depending on when you want to take the ride and how many people will be participating. For example, a balloon ride first thing in the morning might be less expensive than one during sunset. If you are part of a large party possibly staying at a chateau property in the Loire Valley it is most likely that the operator can arrange for the hot air balloon to take off from your property depending upon the topography.
Most companies won't permit small children to ride. There are several reasons for this regarding safety. The ignition system is very loud and potentially incredibly frightening to little ones. Small children tend to also be afraid of heights.
Bear in mind that weather may play a significant factor in your trip. The company will be wary of any bad weather and may have to postpone the trip for safety reasons. Although you may feel incredibly disappointed if this were to happen, remember that taking a trip in bad weather is not worth the risk. Accordingly it is recommended that you book a hot air balloon adventure early in your vacation in case it needs to be postponed because of bad weather.
If you suffer from airsickness you should say this during the initial booking of the excursion. Remember that you can take a non-drowsy motion sickness pill before going on the hot air balloon ride. Similarly if you are scared of heights you need to mention this to the operator in case you faint.

Hot air balloons and how they work explanations for a 7 y r old?
Im helping my son answer a question for school but he doesn't always have the best comprehension and Im trying to explain it in simple terms so he (and I) get it. Here is what we wrote:
What makes a hot air balloon rise?
Warmer air rises in cooler air. A hot air balloon has a bag called the envelope that can hold hot air. Below that is a basket, this carries a source of heat which can produce a increase between the air inside the envelope and the outside air temperature. This helps to keep the balloon and it’s passengers up in the air.
Is that correct? Can you offer a better explanation? Im having trouble understanding the information on websites so please read this through and let me know if it is correct. If it isn't please suggest changes and rewrite it for me...thanks...remember he is 7, no massive words and technical terms thanks.
Yes , basically correct. The warmer air is less dense than the cold air so it is lighter and rises. for a visual demo you could use a balloon and water, with the water representing the cooler air and the balloon as the hot air balloon. The balloon floats on the water the same way the warmer balloon floats on the cooler air
