If you quit, the workers comp would still cover the treatment for your injuries...HOWEVER, you would not be compensated for being off work. You won't be likely to collect unemployment since you quit, and only the treatment for your injuries will be covered by workers comp. Since you would be out of work due to your own reasons, workers comp would not have to pay you for "time missed from work". Hope that makes sense. I wouldn't recommend quitting at this time. First of all, it will be difficult to look for work since you are on light duty as it is, and secondly, you wouldn't have any income to replace what you are at least getting now. It's very difficult out there at this time, and it's worth keeping whatever job you have until you find something else to replace it.
