Which Air conditioner is best!? HELP ?

So I'm stuck between two air conditioners I would love some extra help on deciding which would be best (most energy-efficient etc.)

The Panasonic !! a window unit is the best, I bought that free standing one after Huricane Rita, and took it back the next day. You have to run a hose thru the window with it anyway, Go with the Panasonic
Panasonic 12,000 BTU AIR CONDITIONER

Strengths: 12,000 BTU, 10.8 EER, very quiet, digital, remote control, timer, easy filter access, bottom/side drain with short pipe for hose.
Weaknesses: Very minor: soft outer body (thin metal sheet) may be prone to deformation, only 3 screws for the upper metal bar (4-5 would be slightly better).
Summary: This 12,000 BTU digital air conditioner has all bells and whistles including remote control, timer, easy filter access, bottom/side drain with short pipe for hose. At 10.8 EER, it consumes max. 1,110 W, but can be set to variable modes: cool, economy, fan and dry turning on and off and also timed from 1 up to 12 hours. It has 3 fan speeds, but works very quiet.
