If you have read my other articles, you fully understand the value and need to buy silver to ensure your financial future. In this article, I will present and briefly discuss 7 basic options you have to build your portfolio.

1. Buy Silver Coins:

Through 1964, U.S. coins were 90% silver until the Government replaced silver coins with clad coins in 1965. In the 1970's, silver coins were gathered in $1,000 face-value, 715-ounce bags which you can still buy today. You can buy coins in bags containing 2,000 half dollars, 4,000 silver quarters, or 10,000 silver dimes. These coins are all real coins issued prior to the year 1965.

2. Buy Silver Bars:

You can also buy 100-ounce silver bars "struck" or poured by private mints including Johnson-Matthey, Engelhard, Handy & Harman, and Sheffield. These bars are 0.999 percent pure. They are becoming more difficult to get today, but you may still be able to get them through a distributor. You can also get 5-ounce and 10-ounce bars sold in 100-ounce lots.

3. Buy Silver Eagle Coins:

One of the most popular ways to invest today is to buy silver eagle coins. American eagle silver coins are one-ounce silver coins newly struck by the U.S. mint. They have a face value of one dollar, but they typically sell for a bit more than the spot value based on the silver content. They have the "Walking Liberty" on one side and are large, attractive coins.

4. Buy Canadian Maple Silver Leaf Coins

Like silver eagles, you can buy silver in the form of one-ounce Canadian maple silver coins. These coins are struck by the Canadian Mint. They have the Canadian maple leaf on one side and the Queen on the other.

5. Buy Circulated Peace Dollars:

During the period, 1921 through 1935, silver dollars known as peace dollars were minted. Today, you can buy them in 770-ounce bags. They have been used by the public and are therefore referred to as "circulated". Bags of these coins are fairly limited in supply, so you will have to contact a distributor to buy silver dollars this way.

6. Buy Brilliant Kennedy Half Dollar Bags:

In 1964, the U.S. mints struck uncirculated silver half-dollars with President Kennedy on one side. You can buy them from a distributor in 725-ounce bags, but they are fairly rare.

7. Buy "Mint Quality" Coins:

Some silver coins are minted specifically to create collector-quality. You generally buy these coins packaged individually so you can't touch them. They are rated (and priced) by their mint quality. Today, the top quality, MS-70, typically sells for about $100 for a one-dollar coin. These coins are often bid up in later years based on the date and quality of the mint. Certainly the cost of silver will contribute to their future value, but their value is influenced much more by demand of "collectors".

8. Buy Silver "Stocks"

Okay, this one is not really buying actual silver, but it offers some unique advantages you will not get when you truly buy the metal. There are at least two stocks that essentially track the price of silver: Silver Wheaton (Ticker: SLW) and Silvercorp Metals (SVM). Some of the advantages when you invest this way include you don't take possession or have to pay for storage of the actual metal, you get pretty close to the same growth in price, you have better liquidity (i.e., you can sell it instantaneously), and you can even generate an income from your holdings by selling covered call options. This is a great strategy to add to your outright purchase of the real metal.

Which of these methods you choose when you is obviously up to you. If you go through a distributor, you will pay a small premium and/or sales commission to the spot price of silver, and you will pay the same again when you sell. If you don't take possession of your physical silver (i.e., options 1 through 7 above), you will also pay storage fees and insurance for someone else to store it.

Eagles Tickets - Eagles To Take Flight With Keith Urban And Dixie Chicks This Summer

When rock fans get Eagles tickets to see the band perform "Hotel California" this summer, they will also be treated to performances by the Dixie Chicks and Keith Urban. Yes, that's right, the Eagles, the Dixie Chicks and Keith Urban are embarking on a joint headlining tour this summer! The star-studded road trip begins June 8 and will see the three acts stopping in stadiums scattered across North America, so get tickets to the show at StubHub.com!

Before embarking on their co-headlining tour with the Dixie Chicks and Keith Urban, the Eagles will hit the road on their own. The Long Road Out of Eden Tour will see the Eagles making their Hollywood Bowl debut, with shows at the famed outdoor venue on April 16, 17 and 20. From there, the Eagles will land in North American cities like Phoenix, Ariz.; Las Vegas, Nev.; Anaheim, Calif.; Sacramento, Calif.; San Jose, Calif.; Vancouver, BC; Portland, Ore.; Denver, Colo. and more. The Long Road Out of Eden Tour wraps up with a concert at Cricket Wireless Amphitheatre in Chula Vista, Calif. on May 23, and the Eagles will then take a break before their tour with Urban and the Dixie Chicks unfolds.

The Eagles-Glenn Frey, Don Henley, Joe Walsh and Timothy B. Schmit-have a huge catalog to draw from on tour, as the band has been churning out rock hits for more than 35 years. The original lineup formed in Los Angeles in the early 1970s and released their eponymous debut album in 1972. The record spawned a pair of Top 10 singles-"Take It Easy" and "Witchy Woman"-and was followed by Desperado in 1973. That album contained more hits, like a little song called "Tequila Sunrise," and the Eagles continued to make rock history with the release of their third and fourth albums.

After taking home a Grammy for "Lyin' Eyes" in 1975, the Eagles toured the globe and endured some lineup changes before releasing their fifth and best-known album, Hotel California, in 1976. The Eagles took home two Grammys for the effort in 1977-for Record of the Year and Best Pop Vocal Performance by a Duo, Group, or Chorus-but announced their breakup just a few years later in 1982. The individual Eagles went on to release solo albums but the group reunited with an MTV special and tour in 1994. The album Hell Freezes Over followed in 1996 and the band was inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in 1998.

The Eagles released their seventh studio set, Long Road Out of Eden, in 2007. The double-disc quickly went platinum upon release, proving the guys still have it after all these years, but fans of their older work don't have to worry about only hearing new material on tour. On the Eagles' official website they reveal that they will perform career-spanning sets featuring hits like "Life In the Fast Lane," "Take It to the Limit," "Heartache Tonight," "Desperado," "One of Those Nights" and, of course, "Hotel California."

Needing tires for my Kia spectra5,2005. Goodyear-Eagle-All purpose vs. BFGoodrich Traction Performance? Help?

tire sise 205/50R16 H-rated. I have been driving with the all seasons that came with the car 3 years ago. So I don't think That I realy need winter tires. But between Treadwear, traction and temp and Siping. I 'm a bit uncertain how to know that what I buy will realy be right. Mostly city dirving with small highway trips. Not a speed demon and of course no off road driving , or i would have chosen a differnt vehical- Still Like some imput since trusting what the machanic shops tell me leaves me a bit nervous. Though the wonderful lady at Canadian Tire did give me a tutorial. How tires can cost this much makes me shake my head.

If you want a nice smooth ride go with the goodyear assurance comfort tread. They are top of the line with an 80,00 mile tread life warrenty and road side assistance on the tire. check them out
