It's a hard to beat a plateful of freshly cooked duck after a good duck hunt. The key to maximum enjoyment is keeping it simple and quick. After all getting to bed early is a priority so that you can wake up early and bag a few more ducks.
My favorite and quickest recipe for cooking duck is to simply breast the ducks, cut the meat into bite size pieces, rinse in water, and start frying in pan of melted butter. Next I add a table spoon of water, onion slices, and green pepper slices. The key to tender delicious duck cooked this way is to not cook it to fast or over cook it. After the duck has is done and slightly browned your ready to eat. I enjoy this recipe most on weekday when I go hunting after work.
Another variation of this recipe is to mix up a bag of fajita mix seasoning in a bowl and add the duck cubes. If time allows let it sit to marinade or just spill it into the frying pan. Once the duck is about done drain off the liquid, add the onion and pepper, and allow the duck to brown just a bit while the vegetables are cooking. Remember not to over cook the duck while browning. With the meat just done place an appropriate portion of the meat, onion, and pepper in a fajita wrap along with some Spanish rice on a plate and supper is served.
Another simple recipe for duck on the grill is to once again breast the ducks, rinse the meat, and cut the breast down the middle and across so that four pieces are created. Next wrap each piece with a slice of bacon, secure with a tooth pick and place on the grill. Since cooking bacon will drip a lot fat care must be taken when cooking. Most gas grills will quickly flare up with less flare up problems happening when cooking over charcoals. Once again don't over cook the meat as it will quickly turn into shoe leather. Of course several simple things can be done to make this recipe even better. First soak the duck meat cubes in your favorite marinade overnight. This step alone will greatly improve the flavor of the finished product. Next try cutting a slit into a piece of meat and add either add a piece of jalapeno pepper, cream cheese, or both. Now once again wrap with bacon, secure with a tooth pick, and cook on the grill. Adding the pepper and cream cheese will certainly put an explosion of flavor on your tongue.

How to Pick Up Women
Are you one of those guys who get anxiety panic each time the weekend draws near? I remember being in that position years ago. While most people look forward to the weekends, I dread it. Why? Simply because I was single and clueless when it comes to pick up women. And boy... was I desperate! It's possible to learn how to pick up women. I learnt the skill and you too can learn how to successfully pick up women.
Knowing the women that you want
Before you pick up women, you need to know what sort of woman you want. This is to prevent you from wasting time and effort chasing after the wrong women. Be more specific, for instance if you want a beautiful woman, does she have to be also tall and slim or is your preference for women with hour glass figure. Or maybe you like the girl-next-door down-to-earth type who is also intelligent with a great sense of humour.
Once you've decided on the sort of woman you want, create the picture of your ideal woman in your mind. This exercise helps you to recognize her when you see her and avoids the pitfall of falling just any woman that shows an interest in you. Besides this you are creating a mindset for yourself where you know what you want and will not settle for less.
Meeting places
The best places to pick up women would be at night clubs or bars. Why? Basically women who frequent night clubs or bars are there to unwind after work and hang out with friends, socialize and the single women go there to be picked up! So, it's actually a good training ground.
However if you are the shy type, trying to pick up girls in the night clubs can be very intimidating and daunting. You'll have to be more outgoing and aggressive and put your shy self at home if you want to meet women in night clubs. Besides that, you also have to deal with competition in the form of other guys. To triumph, you need to work on your self confidence and stay ahead of competition from other males in the vicinity.
It would be easier to strike up a conversation if you hang out in the open-air areas away from the din in the night club. Most night clubs have patios or verandahs for those who smoke. Another good place to start is the dance floor. This is provided that you can dance. Target women who are dancing by on their own or with their girl friends. If the women are game to dance with you, then great! Else move on to the next potential woman. A key point to remember, women are easier to pick up later in the evening due to alcohol consumption.
How to approach women?
The single most important thing that you should learn if you want to approach women is to get over the fear of approaching a woman and start a conversation. Some guys stick to using pick up lines. There are lots of books on pick up lines and you could get one of these books and memorize a few that you like and try them out.
The downside of using pick up lines is they aren't original. Since all you have to do is just go buy a book and memorize some lines, any Tom, Dick and Harry may be doing the same thing as you and guess what??? Most women you used the lines on would have heard the same lines before. The only difference is in the guy delivering those same cheesy lines. So that pretty much says how effective pick up lines are.
Personally I don't like to use pick up lines, besides the obvious lack of originality, pick up lines are corny. In my opinion, a simple 'hi' would be suffice as an opener.
Alternatively you can learn some card tricks to get her attention or palm reading but these two are more suitably carried out in places where you can talk without having to shout on top of your voices. There are many books out there on simple card tricks and elementary palm reading. Get some of these books and learn up a few common tricks.
The great thing about trick is they attract a crowd and crowd means you draw attention from other women. The concept it like salting the jar - for instance if you put an empty tip jar on your beside your cash machine, what are the odds that people will drop their coins into it? Now, if you put in a couple of dollars in the jar and some coins, the impact of seeing the money in the jar will call on the rest to also contribute.
Same theory applies here, if you can get a woman's attention with your card trick, her attention and delight with your trick will bring other women to check you out. And when you have women flocking to check out your trick, you will soon have them competing for your attention. Get it?
Are you dateable?
All this would not be complete if you don't look your part. Bear in mind that when you are trying to pick up a woman, you are also being appraised by the object of your interest. When you qualify a woman, she is also qualifying you. This works both ways therefore you need to work on your appearance and also confidence.
Women find confident men sexy. You don't have to look like Tom Cruise or Brad Pitt but it is essential that you are well groomed. No one likes to be seen with a slob. So, put on your best foot forward and go get your girl!

How long do you have to live in a place to pick up an accent?
Im american, and if i moved to australia, how long before i got an australian accent?
I have to disagree with never. People who move to a country with a different language than theirs, would for example eventually forget a lot of their native one after a few decades. So why shouldn't it be possible for you to pick up a different accent when completely immersed in it for years and years?
I'd say at least 10 years, probably 20 or more before you'll sound like an Aussie.
