Here are some more information for Running Gear:

Over the last year and a half I have become a moderately serious runner. This wasn't something I had planned on focusing on. It just evolved from jogging a few miles a week to increase my aerobic capability to now having completed my first full marathon. Prior to me taking up jogging, I thought the folks running marathons were nuts! I heard a statistic or less than 1% of the population has ever completed a marathon. At that time, I never believed I would've ever been part of the 1%. Now that I've done it, I believe most people can do it if they choose to.
Make no mistake, I am not threatening to win the event or to set any local records. I have just found it rewarding to challenge myself and extend my physical capabilities to do more than I had once believed. Let's just say I am proud to have passed the halfway point before the winners crossed the finish line. No matter what pace a runner runs, it's absolutely critical to stick to a training schedule. This can be particularly challenging when mother nature doesn't cooperate. That's why I chose to purchase waterproof running gear
With my waterproof running suit, gloves, hat and shoes, I can keep training in the elements. This is incredibly important to me as I dread running indoor on the treadmill. Having the proper equipment, keeps me warm and comfortable even in a driving rain. I am like most runners who would much prefer running on a beautiful sunny day, but keeping fit throughout the winter is certainly much easier with the proper equipment.
Having a water repellent running suit which breathes well, helps to keep you dry from both the rain and your sweat. Waterproof running shoes are at the top of my list as they keep my feet quite dry even in the pouring rain, providing a puddle doesn't jump up and get me. Keeping my feet dry reduces the chance of getting blisters or any other problems. Prior to using waterproof running shoes, I would run with my lightest pair of running shoes in the rain as they would drive faster than heavier pairs. I only had two pairs, so if there were multiple days of rain I had to break the blow dryer out to accelerate the drying process. Waterproof running shoes are definitely the way to go.
While my local gym has fantastic treadmills, cardio equipment and TV's to keep me occupied. Running on a treadmill is akin to golfing at a driving range. There's a certain sense of accomplishment to experience and endure the elements that mother nature throws at you. It builds confidence and increases your awareness of how your body reacts in these conditions. It's an incredible asset to have on race day.
Running in the rain isn't my first choice, however with the proper waterproof running gear I still enjoy my training runs and logging those all-important miles.

Running Tips For All Four Seasons
Running is one of the best ways to get into shape and to stay in great condition, because it is a sport you can practice on your own time, at your own pace, and without a lot of fancy equipment. However, making running your primary mode of exercise can prove to be a bit problematic because it puts your fitness at the mercy of the elements. Running on a crisp fall afternoon is a lot different than trying to hit the sidewalks for a great run in the heat of a scorching August day or in the frigid chill of a snowy January. Luckily, dedicated runners have developed ways to keep improving their skill and strength even when Mother Nature is not on their side.
During the warm days of summer, the most important thing that you as a runner need to worry about is dehydration. The combination of sweating from exertion and from the heat can take its toll. Many runners who are not anticipating the effects of the weather on their hydration levels end up facing symptoms that range from temporary discomfort to very serious problems that can land even the fittest runner in the hospital. To protect yourself from this summertime menace, be sure to drink plenty of fluids throughout the day. It is crucial to carry a bottle of water or a sports drink on your run with you. But because the stomach can only absorb a limited amount of fluid at a time, it is equally important to keep feeding your body liquid throughout the day in order to gradually replenish the water that you will inevitably lose on your run.
When the weather outside is chilly, runners often have trouble keeping their muscles warm enough, which can lead to injury. Cold increases stiffness, which makes muscles less flexible and responsive, and therefore more vulnerable to trauma. If you are set on running outdoors during the winter, you should plan on investing in some new running gear that will help you protect yourself against the dangers of cold weather. Shoes with enough traction to handle slippery patches of ice, and a good pair of athletic pants that will wick away your sweat while keeping your legs warm, are two crucial parts of safe winter running.
Many runners are firm believers that the great outdoors is the best place to run, and the benefits of sunshine and fresh air are certainly important. However, when the climate is inhospitable for running because of snow, excessive heat, slippery wet ground, or any number of other factors, it is often a better idea to hit the gym rather than the streets.
Running on a treadmill can help you build up your strength and endurance without risking the kind of injuries that hazardous weather can bring. Running on a treadmill is gentler on your knees than running on pavement. Because of this, many fitness experts recommend alternating between outdoor and treadmill running regardless of the weather. By knowing when it is a smart idea to stay inside, you will be able to make sure you avoid weather-related injuries so that you can be in peak condition when you get your next chance to run outdoors.

Why does the dodge 1500 and 2500 mega cab both have 8 lug axles? Do they have the same running gear?
Are the rear leaf springs lighter in the 1500? Thank You,
Tazman 97009
Yes they have the same running gear, frame and everything.
The 1500 is built on the 2500 platform. However, since it has the hemi V8 it only gets the 10.5" AAM rear differential. The 2500 with a Cummins will get a larger AAM 11.5" rear differential.
As far as I know everything between them is the same.
