But even with occasional poundings, it remains one of the region's top destinations. You can expect most fish to average 1 to 1.5 pounds, with the occasional 5- to 6-pound kicker.
Black Butte's larger bass typically stick to the backs of coves, where shad-pattern crank baits and rip baits work well when fish are active. Try Texas-rigging a chartreuse grub when the fishing is slow, working your way from shallow to deep until you locate bass. When all else fails, tie on a drop-shot rig and target the submerged trees on the south side of the lake.
Lake Oroville (Butte County) -- Spotted bass are king at Oroville, where 50- to 100-fish days are commonplace. The problem is that there are so many fish that they all look like they came out of the same small-bass mould. However, if it's non-stop action that you're after, this is where you want to be. What do you do next after your first frame? Holga?
I recently purchased a holga 120 cfn, and im using the b&w film.
i dont really get how you turn the spool, i mean...if i wanted a single frame,what do you do after your first shot? do you turn the spool until it reads "2" ?
do i still have to turn the spool after the first frame if i want a overlapping frame ? (double exposure)

After each exposure, advance your film, unless you are planning on doing multiple exposures.
When you shoot, think SAFE.
S - Shutter. Set the camera to N for normal photos (B for long exposures, on the B setting, the shutter will stay open for as long as you hold the shutter down.)
A - Aperture. On the Holga it really doesn't matter which you pick. You have 2 aperture settings on the Holga, but due to a design flaw, the aperture is the same on both settings. Here's an explanation of why:

F - Focus. Decide how far you are from the subject ,and set the focus
ring accordingly.
E - Expose your film. Trip the shutter, advance your film and repeat!
If you want multiple exposures, skip the film advance and take another or more exposures on top of the first.
