The Harrington ED single speed electric chain hoist has an ergonomic one-handed cylinder for greater load control, a single phase motor for 120-volt outlets, a die-cast aluminum body with low headroom for tight workspaces and mobility, and a hook for overhead mounting. This hoist has a dual-brake system with a Weston-style mechanical load brake and an electric regenerative brake, which generates electricity to help power the motor.
