Here are some more information for Spot Weld:

The term metal finish means different things to different people, for the purpose of this article we'll discuss filler free dent removal, this doesn't mean that you can remove a huge dent or crease without the use of filler, it just doesn't work like that.
This is a process by which you use certain tools to remove small dents and waves from the surface of the sheet metal on your car, it's a precise process by which you use slap files, medium grit sand papers, and torches if you need to to remove small dents and waves.
Some people would rather that the extra time to remove these small imperfections, and not use any filler to do it, I don't want you to get the idea that this is a better way to remove dents, if body filler is used the right way, it does a great job.
Metal finishing to remove small dents takes a lot of time, and in the end it has some very specific draw backs that you need to know about, so you can weigh out possibilities before you go to this extreme, first of all, if time is a concern, you'd better use filler to do the job.
With all the advances that they've made in the plastic fillers, they really are hard to beat these days, the idea behind no filler dent and wave removal is obvious, the process works like this, first you locate the area that needs work by hand feeling for high, and low spots in the metal.
Once you locate the affected areas, you need to determine if it's a high spot, or a low spot in the metal, I suggest using a sharpie to circle the affected area, and to label it so you know what it is when you start to do the metal finish work.
You'll need to start out working the high spot with your slap file, with a light weight dolly behind the the high spot, the idea behind the slap file is to lightly slap the high spot as you move the file forward at the same time, so you'd lightly slap the dent with a forward motion.
As you slap the dent the file will leave marks in the metal, and you'll need to remove these marks before you apply the primer to the car, this is where the sand paper, and sanding block come in to the picture, you'll 80 grit paper to start with, and 180 to finish with.
You'll be using 80 grit to remove the main file marks from the metal, and 180 grit to remove the 80 grit scratches along with any small file marks that may be left, once again, this is not a major body work technique, it's to remove small dents and waves.
It's also a great way to remove the high spot that a welder leaves after you finish grinding the weld off, but this usually still requires a little bit of metal glaze to finish it with, so it's not filler free, but it will remove most of the high spot.
After you have done the metal finish work, you can now spray it with primer, or feather fill then primer, and your finished, you have just fixed the small dent, or wave in your car body without the use of plastic body filler.
The Tools You'll need:
1.Slap File
2.Hammer & Dolly
3.Sanding Block
4.80 and 180 grit sand paper

HOW TO PLASTIC WELD
BOOT ON GRASS CATCHER
· USING THE MINI-WELD MODEL 6 PLASTIC WELDER
I was unable to find the price of this item.
It cost around $15 to fix.
1. Make sure work area is clean and well ventilated. Use caution when using the mini-weld plastic welder. The plastic welder is hot and can burn you and can cause a fire.
2. Set the plastic welder to pre heat and set welder in stand.
3. Clean the part to be welded.
4. There is a large missing piece of plastic.
5. I looked for a symbol on this part, I couldn’t find one. So I used the uni-flex welding rod the color match was ok and it sticks to a lot of different types of plastic.
6. Set the heat of the welder to uni-flex welding rod.
7. I put stainless steel mesh (this comes with the mini-weld model 6 kit) to fill the void.
8. First I spot welded the mesh in place.
9. Then I adjusted the mesh to fit the void.
10. I used uni-flex fiber rod to fill void.
11. I filled the void on front and back. The stainless steel wire mesh will give the break more strength. Let the heat from the plastic welder do most of the work for you.
12. Try to smooth out the weld as much as possible.
13. Using a wet rag. Cool the welded part and began to sand it down.
14. I use 60 grit sand paper at the start. This should take most of the bumps down. Then I go to 180 grit sand paper to make it smooth.
15. Now I make sure the part fits back on the mower. If it doesn’t I can either sand it more or use the welder to make adjustments to part. If you would like to see befor and after pictures go to kandjwarehouse.com

Martin, Kovalchuk could be in final days with Devils
The Devils are not doing anything about enticing their top defenseman, Paul Martin, away from unrestricted free agency. The playoffs open in two weeks, and, historically, the Devils have not negotiated with their upcoming UFAs once the second season starts. Heck, historically, they do not do much bargaining with them...
