Here are some more information for Welder Aluminum:

Cables are usually two or more wires that are bound together in protective jacket or sheath. The individual wires in the cable may be bare, covered, or insulated. However, electrical wire cables that are used for welding are mostly made from aluminum, copper or lead.
Welding cables are characterized by a greater amount of flexibility due to the stranding wires. The smaller individual wires are twisted together to produce a larger wire, which is more flexible than a single solid wire of the same size. This flexibility is a result of bunching of small wires before concentric stranding.
Various welding structures are built to achieve various types of welding, which require distinct cables to carry distinct currents. The #0 (1/0) welding cable is a flexible cable that has a dual jacket and a 600-volt AC/DC rating. The cable is usually available in red and black, and can be ordered from the Internet for a minimum quantity of 5 meters. Similarly, flexible lead wires can also be ordered online. These cables are often used to connect the electrodes to the welder unit. The cable exhibits a supreme level of flexibility at extreme temperatures ranging from a minimum of -50oC to a maximum of +105oC. Besides, the cable has a dual jacket with 600-volt AC/DC rating. These cables are available in spools of 250 ft and 500 ft, and are exclusively available in black.
Special cables are used for inverter stylized welding machines. These special cables are exclusively used to connect the battery to the inverter. A special pair of black and red cables is used with crimped terminal lugs.
The most common cable used for welding machines is the standard K neoprene insulated welding cable. The cable is made from 30-gauge soft-drawn copper strands. The cable maintains its flexibility at extreme temperatures ranging from a minimum of -40oC to a maximum of +90oC.
A good cable is very crucial as it carries a large volume of current and a minor leakage can cause huge disasters. These cables also play a significant role in underwater welding processes.

Aluminum Extrusion: Effective Use Of An Abundant Metal
Aluminum extrusion marries the abundance of aluminum to manufacturing methods that take into account the metal's special features. Guided by the aluminum extrusion process, the designer feels free to coordinate his or her design with five considerations. Those are the five factors that determine the specifics of each extrusion process.
Before commencing an aluminum extrusion process, the designer must first ascertain the function of the aluminum part that needs to be made. Then the designer must define the size and shape of an aluminum part that could perform that specific function.
Often the designer chooses at this point to make a sketch of the proposed part. The designer normally includes in a drawing his or her visualization of the various elements in the proposed part. The drawing shows how the part would be situated in some pre-determined space. The drawing gives the precise dimensions for each section of whatever needs to be created by the extrusion process.
The designer then examines the drawing, and ponders the degree to which it agrees with the factors desired by the part requestor. Does the designer's proposed part have the eye appeal or functionality that the requestor demands? Has the part been shaped so as to fit well into the total of assembled parts?
Aluminum excursion yields a part in which the cross section is a constant diameter. Does the part suggested by the design concept agree with the known tolerance of aluminum? Does the proposed design call for any finish on the aluminum? Does it require that the aluminum be alloyed with another metal? What is the circumference of the area that would surround the proposed design?
Those are the factors that a good designer must take into consideration. Those are the factors that guide the specifics of the aluminum extrusion process. During that process, an extrusion die lets a molten metal flow through a shaped aperture.
Aluminum extrusion bears a strong resemblance to the process used by the baker when he or she uses a special cone to put icing on a cake. The baker applies force to the icing. The cone must hold back the icing that is at the edges of the cone's aperture. In the same way, the extrusion die must prevent leakage of molten aluminum from the sides of the die opening.
Aluminum extrusion gives the manufacturer a low cost and easy way to create multiple parts with the same design. At times some of those parts need to be joined to other metal parts. Aluminum extrusion can aid the uniting of two metal parts.
Aluminum extrusion can be used to put engraved "guides" into the extruded aluminum. Those guides can show where rivets should be placed, if the aluminum piece is to be joined to another metal piece. Aluminum extrusion also gives a manufacturer a way to put a vee groove in the extruded metal. Such a vee groove can assist the welder, the worker who must prepare the equipment that can bond the aluminum to another metal piece.

Where can I find a decent, well-paying welding job?
I have many welding certifications in all kinds of base metals, gas combinations and positions, and can use all common welding processes. I know someone needs a skilled aluminum TIG welder. Pipe included. All applies to steel, stainless steel, and titanium.
Try Northrup Grumman, they are looking for pipe welders, pipe fitters, plate welders, grinders, fabricators, etc.
They have shipyards in Newport News, VA and in Pascagula, MS.
I'm putting in for a plate welder in MS.
The initial welding test is a
3G V-groove on 3/8 plate with a 1/4" gap, 1 1/2"x1/4" backing. 1/8 E11018 SMAW electrode.
and a 3G V-groove on 3/8 plate with a 1/4" gap, ceramic backing. 0.052 110T-C FCAW-GS CO2
They also have a restricted pipe test,
6G, Tig Root, 7018 cap.
They have full benefits, moving assistance, and up to $21.10/hr starting pay depending on how well you do on the test. Also all the overtime you want.
