Here are some more information for Wire Weld:

While learning how to mig weld is more involved than what we can write in 500 words or so here is a brief summary of getting set up and the process involved.
Getting set up.
Your Mig welder will need to be set up for the type of metal and the thickness of the metal. That is, you will need the correct welding wire and shielding gas for whatever is being welded. For example if you are welding aluminum you will need aluminum welding wire in the machine and argon gas for the shielding gas.
Next we need to set up the amperage and speed of the wire feed to suit the thickness of the metal. The thicker the metal the more amps will be required. The wire feed speed will be dependent on the thickness of the wire in the machine.
How to Mig Weld Process
With the gas supply and the welding machine turned on the operator can begin welding. If you are welding in outdoor conditions you may need a protective shield to prevent gas from being blown away from the weld area.
If you have an automatic welding helmet turn on the power switch. Using a non auto helmet lower the hood in preparation to weld. Never attempt to used welding equipment without a certified helmet.
Hold the welding gun at a 90 degree angle to the work and pointed at 10 degrees towards the line to be welded. Squeeze the trigger on the mig gun. Once the weld begins move slowly up the travel line, all the while ensuring that you have a 'pool' of molten metal at the weld zone.
Trouble shooting.
Welding operation spits and jumps on contact.
- Check the speed of the wire feed and slow it down
- Check to see that gas is on.
- Check the polarity of earth and torch cable, reverse if needed.
- Check the earth connection for a good earth.
- Poor surface preparation, remove any paint or other contamination.
Machine operation weak or not fusing /or burning through metal
- Turn up or down the power settings.
- Increase / decrease wire feed speed.
- Check that gas is on
There is much to learn how to mig weld than the above tips, welding positions such as vertical up and overhead require different techniques, as do welding of different metals such as mig welding of aluminum, and stainless steel. However with good instruction and practice this is something anyone can master.

PLASTIC WELDING SAFETY
PLASTIC WELDING SAFETY
- Work area should well ventilated. You may want to weld in the garage due to some plastics do have an odor to them. When welding them.
- Remember the plastic welder- is very hot it can burn you or start a fire. So you must be careful when using your plastic welder.
- 1. So don't touch the barrel or the tip of the welder with your hand. When welder is hot.
- 2. Don't have any combustibles laying around your work area as they may catch on fire.
- Keep your work area clean. (papers, wood, gas can's, put everything away that you think could catch on fire or melt. If the welder would come in contact with it.)
- When using the plastic welder make sue that the plastic welder rest is set up and you are able to use it. This will be usefull if you have to move the part that your working on around.
- Have all your tools that you will be using set up and ready for you when needed.
Plastic welder with stand
welding rods that you will be using to weld with.
wire mesh if needed (this is used for added strength of the weld.
plastic parts cleaned and ready to weld.(you can clean the parts with soap and water)
- Now when your finished welding
Put the welder on stand and turn it off. Then let the welder cool down.
Let the plastic item that was just welded cool down.
Put all your welding rods back up and if the welder is cool. Put the welder and stand back up also.

which is the best mig welding wire to weld stainless steel?
which brand, tickness and the best gas mixture?
To weld stainless steel, you have to use stainless steel electrodes. Depends on the thickness of the steel, 1/16" is very thick for stainless steel, your welding machine would have to be the truck-mount type and is able to deliver 325 A.
